what is the blind insanity

that lacerates reason, pauses

what hurts, maims to rape and murder

children, women, in bestial anger?

should Woman give up basic rights to liberty

cowering from every threat, for basic safety?

or make fear and violence her companion

watch the whole world with constant suspicion?

her unbearable trauma, her lives abruptly torn

in cruel sodomy, her limitless crime borne

the numbers increase, the system fumbles

in desensitized apathy, Eve’s justice sadly crumbles
